Audrey Justine Tautou (born Audrey Justine Tautou) is a French actor and model. She rose to prominence by playing the awkward, eccentric waitress Amelie who won many awards. Tautou has been compared with Audrey Hepburn, due to her attractiveness, charismatic acting and her talent. It was surprising that Tautou chose acting for a profession. She was born into a bright family with the father of an academic and her mother who was dental practitioner. In school she caught the acting bug and made a decision to be a full-time actress. She attended classes in acting in the school of Cours Florent. She shortly after, she was offered a role on television movie production Coeur de cible. Venus Beauty Institute saw her make her film debut, which was very well-received. She is a daring performer who has a passion for playing a broad range of characters and has been in films of various categories, from Amelie the romantic movie up to Dirty Pretty Things the thriller. She is a native of France and has played in French movies before taking on her Hollywood debut with Tom Hanks. As a model she is considered to be a model of high esteem in regard to her fashion sense and is considered a fashionista.
